“The turtle lays thousands of eggs without anyone knowing, but when the hen lays an egg, the whole country is informed,” is a Malaysian proverb worth considering this month. Your sensitivity is the wellspring of your creative ideas, and because you feel deeply, your ideas are vast and often too unique for popular recognition. So like the proverb says, you may feel as if you’ve been spinning your wheels but it’s only because your work and thoughts are too sublime for the average to pick up. But your creative flow is raging is coursing strongly, and I advise you to let your subconscious ocean roar, and bring to surface as many wandering thoughts, ideas, images, dialogues, dreams, and wishes as possible. Take the first week of the month to indulge your inner world, and do not self-edit, they are connected to a much larger space, a space that is not seen by the average viewer. But that’s okay. You are special, especially this month.

By week two, the emotional weight of your worries and expectations will take a toll. You are a creative soul, and whether you’ve been expressing your talents full-time or part-time in art, music, writing, design, or just managing people and projects around you, you have been bearing a greater weight of emotional frustration. This is either because you have not felt the recognition you deserve (for your many brilliant ideas) or because you have been shouldering too much responsibility for a large production and your energy reserve is running low. Whichever is the case, take week two to decompress, and be you. What do you feel you deserve that you are not getting? What can those around you do to lighten the load? And if doubts and inner turmoil continue to burden you, take a break, but also ask yourself: What could you do to make yourself feel better?

Once you get over this emotional hurdle, you will feel a new energy that may arise from the discovery of a fresh idea, one that is different from all the others. This new idea will give the necessary momentum to help your current creative work reach the next level, and a little monetary reward may be waiting for you when you get there.

At the end of the month you may notice that not only have you been fostering thousands of ideas, but that you’ve been putting all your “eggs” in one basket. Release a baggage or two of emotional dead-weight (anything negative or critical you’ve been carrying around). With a lighter load, and the same surge of great ideas, you will be well on to a new path, leading swiftly toward creative success. Praise for your work will not come in the obvious form (as it is lavished on the “hen”), but you will feel a deep satisfaction from the recognition you will feel within yourself, as well as from a special, intellectually elevated community around you.
