“Futch” You

The run-away star on “Shot at Love with Tila Tequila” is lesbian firefighter Dani Campbell from Florida. Not only has her Myspace “friends” list grown--since the reality series first aired a month back--from 200 to 30,000, but celebs such as Margaret Cho (writing on her blog) have extolled the delectable mix of masculine and feminine attributes the smoke eater herself calls: “Futch” (pronounced “footch”). Ms. Tequila (real last name Nguyen), an avowed bi-sex ual (but rumored heterosexual, with a long-term boyfriend kept in the closet, so to speak) has chosen Ms. Campbell as one of two finalists for “her love” (the other is a man). But regardless if she wins this coveted prize, Campbell’s fortunes look rosy (not O'Donnell) as she's designing a new clothing line (called “Futch) based on the attire she sports on the show. Not to rein on the parade, but we must inform the public that this fashion project was already launched back in 1983 by Rodney Dangerfield in the classic comedy, Easy Money.
