Maria Shriver’s 2007 Women’s Conference Shames All Women And Is Deservingly Mocked By Jon Stewart

First Lady of California Maria Shriver moderated a panel of potential presidential spouses last week. Her guests included Michelle Obama, Elizabeth Edwards, Jeri Thompson, Ann Romney and Cindy McCain, and though the conference opened up an opportunity for serious discussion over US and World affairs and a closer look at a new age of women in politics, Shriver and her lame panelists somehow jumped into a time machine while we weren’t looking and set us back by a hundred years.
Shriver, wife of the Governator and one-time real journalist (Sunday CBS Morning News, Sunday Today, NBC Nightly News, Dateline NBC, etc), lead the topics of discussion towards the travails of changing diapers and navigating the nasty PTA. Gone are the days of Eleanor Roosevelt – I mean, ‘gals if you had to travel back in time you could’ve gone there.
By the way, Bill Clinton couldn’t make the conference to participate as potential first laddie but this was just as well. Cindy McCain and Jeri Thompson might’ve left California pregnant and then we would have to stone them to death.
On that note, if you’re a woman who doesn’t believe in being stoned to death (like ever), I suggest you pick up a copy of am-BITCH-ous by Debra Condren.
