Joey Fatone to Brit: Hey Babe Mi Casa Su Casa

Least desirable straight member of N’Synch, Joey Fatone, has formally extended an invitation to the drug-tabloid-and-cellulite-wearied pop star to come and stay at his crib in Orlando for a little “healing”. He told Extra:

“I think she just needs some time, some time to really heal... Britney call me, come over to my house, come to Orlando, get way from it all.   It’s a good thing to get out of L.A.... I’m here for you sweetheart.” 

Who knew Joey was such a humanitarian, opening his house to the neediest and most desperate of millionaire international superstars.  If anyone is going to save Brit from her career tailspin, it is going to be Joey and his boy band Zen  -- only Joey can bring her back in touch with the things that matter in life, to really heal; he can take her to the DMV and help her fill out the paperwork for a driver’s license; he can help her shop for underwear and teach her to carefully pull down her skirt while getting her out of a car; and maybe, just maybe, he can help land her a gig on “Dancing with he Stars” or, barring that, in a touring production of Grease (where all boy band has-beens eventually end up).  

The outpouring of sympathy for Brit, both real and coldly ironic, has been something to behold.  But while most of us have just laid wreaths at the gate of her mansion, Joey has really extended a heartfelt invitation into his own bedchamber home, and we commend that.

Anyone available to baby-sit while she’s gone at Joey’s?
