“Et Tu Barretto”

Kurt Cobain, the late, great Nirvana frontman, once said: “Just because your paranoid, doesn’t mean they’re not after you.” It’s a safe bet that Britney Spears agrees with this suspicious sentimentality.  Of course, all she needs to do is peek over her shoulder (or between her legs) and she’ll see yet another “close friend,” “family member,” or “trusted employee” ratting her out.  Most recently, former bodyguard Tony Barretto, who, according to Fox News, disparaged her character in front of the Los Angeles Family Court, as part of the ongoing child custody battle between Brit and her loathsome lothario of an ex-husband, the (melted) Vanilla-Ice of our time, Kevin (K-Fed) Federline.  Barretto, it’s reported, says that the once-virginal Mousekateer sashayed in front of her two young boys nude and drug addled (perhaps rehearsing for the VMA awards?).  Barretto says he came forward with the allegations because he was concerned for the safety of the children, not because, as the Pop Tart’s lawyer suggest, he’s angry at being prematurely terminated from the position.  Whatever the truth in this matter, Starbuddies sees bad karma for Barretto; that is, we do not like a snitch—unless, of course, they are whispering some naughty tidbit into our ears.
