Oops--I Was Outsold By The Eagles

Just when it looked like things couldn't get much more depressing for Ms. Spears, her new album "Blackout" came in 2nd place on the Billboard Charts, selling a mere 290,000 copies (a good 60,000 shy of expectations).  More distressing is the fact that she was beat out by The Eagles' new album "Long Road Out To Eden".  BY 421,000 COPIES.  Adding insult to injury, "Long Road Out To Eden" is available exclusively at Wal-Mart.  Adding a little spittle onto that insult to injury is the fact that The Eagles are terrible and most people under 40 are undoubtedly surprised to learn that they're still alive.

Jeff Lebowski, a.k.a. The Dude, said it best:

"I hate the fuckin’ Eagles, man!"

No doubt Britney agrees.
