Ben Stiller, as quoted in Instyle, and reprinted in The New York Post’s Page Six Column (August 21st edition), says his wife, actress Christine Taylor (“Dodgeball,” “Zoolander,” Marcia in “The Brady Bunch Movie”), “...likes to hide around our house, like in our closet, and jump out at me.”  Stiller continues, “I’m easily alarmed.  I think I’m literally going to have a heart attack.”  Of course, Ms. Taylor’s antics might be nothing more than an attempt to get a humorous rise out of her husband.  But could it be more sinister?  Martin A. Samuels, a leading neurologist, believes that for a very rare few, if they’re scared enough, chemicals sent out by the brain (“like getting an enormous dose of speed or ecstasy,” he explained in an ABC News article) can physically damage the heart.  And in some extreme cases, cause sudden death.  So, for the sake of Mr. Stiller’s health, Starbuddies.Com is offering to send, if he desires, a supply of actual speed and ecstasy, so the comic can build up his tolerance to the drugs’ effects, and thus better prepare his heart the next time his wife leaps out from the shadows.  That, or we can offer up the name of a good divorce lawyer.
