Please Don't Tease Ashlee Simpson

Who says chivalry is dead?   According to Page Six, Fall Out Boy band singer Pete Wentz has sent a cease-and-desist request to heavy metal rockers Neurosonic over a song of theirs that denigrates his girlfriend Ashley's Simpson's past lip-synching meltdown on Saturday Night Live.   The name of the Simpson-skewering tune is "So Many People," and Neurosonic's frontman, Jason Darr, usual invites audiences to dance a "jig" as he sings, like the plastic surgery-enhanced Ashley did right before she scampered off  the SNL stage.   Perhaps we might suggest a counter suit by Neurosonic, requesting that Wentz cease-and-desist from applying his ever-present eyeliner.
